Suburban Studios Birmingham Homewood I-65

The lobby was very neat and smelled like it’s regularly cleaned but the hallways and elevator were filthy with a terrible odor! It was hard not to gag from the different smells. The pillows were very soft and comfortable on the bright side. There was no hot water in the shower! The shower handle and curtain were both broken. The caulking around the toilet was disgusting!! The a/c unit & bathroom had a funny smell like mold was in the air so we ended up checking out early and finding another place to stay. My boyfriend actually got sick from the moldy smell. Definitely wasn’t worth what we paid!

Great place nice clean and everyone so friendly

Room was nice and clean and had the things needed for an extended stay location - tv, dishes, soaps, etc. Staff was nice. The pillows are really thin though and so are the walls- could hear everyone walking around above and outside my hotel door which was a little annoying.

My stay was okay in that the room was clean and the amenities it had; such as a full kitchen, a pullout bed, etc. However, remodeling was incomplete and the room had cigarette smell all in it, as well as the building itself. I thought I was getting s non-smoking room.

What I like about the property was it was spacious and clean and what I didn’t like was the tv”s wasn’t working

My stay was disappointing. The room was decent but the covers had a sour smell to them, the people in the room above us were super noisy and there were roaches. Needless to say I won’t be staying again.

The mattress was comfortable , can not say much positive able the room at all

Service was friendly but the hotel could use a bit of an update. And for goodness sakes-carpeting?

Clerk was very friendly when we checked in. The only probably i saw was a new coffee pot was needed for the room.

Check-in was easy and they were very friendly. Also, the beds were very comfortable and my whole family slept well. The downside is the room was musty and the carpet felt a little grimy.
