Pre-dinner drinks in the cosy lounge, breakfast on the verandah. Beautifully appointed bedroom. Stunning gardens. Highlight of our stay in Hobart.

"Lovely stay in a beautiful historic home"

A beautiful guesthouse with magnificent gardens, even in winter. Loved the shared sitting area with honesty bar - it was cozy and atmospheric and we enjoyed having somewhere other than our room to relax. The enclosed veranda where breakfast is serviced is bright and warm and the breakfast options are simple and delicious.

We were in the king room - the Basil Crisp room- which was beautifully decorated but small. Next time I would choose a larger option.

Unique, incredible.. a journey into the past (of a wealthy family’s home). The detail is impeccable, the rooms are a dream. I want to experience it again!

Beautiful restored house. Could tell the owners really put a lot into it. The bathing machine in the bathroom was very cool to see. The check in was easy. Unfortunately we had to leave to the airport too early and didn't get to have breakfast on the veranda. The garden is beautiful!

Could sort of hear the other patrons but it was okay
