"Good value for money"

Good price good location and the receptionist was really friendly and the bed was really comfortable had a good sleep

The corridor to the rooms had really strong smell of cannabis think someone was smoking in the room

Location, style and upgrade to better room than usual

The breakfast was disappointing. Coffee weak and tasteless, oj advertised as freshly ground when tasted like concentrate, some items unavailable, not brought everything you need to enjoy your breakfast.

Great hotel and I love the period detail. Its in a prime location and so perfect for my trips to Glasgow. Its just such a shame that this place is closing next week.

Having to use the key card for access on all levels. Infuriating when carrying heavy luggage!

"A building with real history. Ask about it."

Wonderful old building, the lift/elevator was a work of art. Decor in the public areas was so in keeping with the building. The rooms were well appointed if on the warm side. Bathroom functional.

Room on 1st night was like a sauna (room 201). Barely slept. Asked for a room change and were given room 210. - much larger and less hot. Decor in both rooms was eyecatching. Bed comfortable.
