The staff in the restaurant in the evening were friendly and polite, food was fair. Location was good with plenty of parking.

Breakfast was basic and no healthy options fat free yogurts, processed muesli full of sugar are not a healthy options. The rooms are dated. The bed is too far away from the bedside table and the mattress felt very old.

We asked for a quiet room and this was arranged without any problem.

My wife and I booked this hotel on the same day after travelling a long distance to purchase a vehicle, and we decided to stay overnight and explore the town. This is my honest opinion of our experience. The two gentlemen working there were genuinely kind and helpful (I only wish I had taken their names). The room was spacious, very clean, and refreshingly free from the damp, musty smell you sometimes find in hotels. There was initially an issue with the radiator heater not working, but the staff kindly provided a brand-new fan heater straight out of the box. Later that evening, the radiator actually started working, so the issue resolved itself. For dinner, I ordered the pepperoni pizza—it was delicious and so large that I had to have it boxed up. The staff were kind enough to keep it warm under a heat lamp for me. My wife had the scampi, which she really enjoyed. We both decided to have dessert as well, which we don’t usually do, but the meal was so good that we couldn’t resist. Breakfast was £10 each, and the continental selection was excellent—really tasty, with nothing to fault. The location is convenient, with the main town just an 8-minute drive away and a Sainsbury’s within walking distance. Overall, I would highly recommend booking with Dragon Fly.

Room was excellent, warm clean and quiet, despite the hotel being near a busy road. Large comfy bed. Breakfast was very good especially the cooked option, varied choice.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Sadly the evening meal in the restaurant was very poor. Both meals were not even luke warm. I feel there must have been lack of communication between the kitchen and bar staff and our meals had been standing around in the kitchen for a while before being served.It wasn't busy at the time, only 3 other guests being served.
