Room was nice, beds were comfortable. Great value for money

There was a lot of hair on the bath so had not been cleaned properly before we checked in. We stayed in room 102 and had an internal door right outside which did wake us up. The extractor fan in the bathroom was making a lot of noise in the night even tho we didn’t use it for hours beforehand. We went for breakfast at 8.30 and few of the cooks items were not hot so I would advise to go there early

The manager was so unfriendly, made me feel insanely unwelcome there. The rooms were dirty also. The manager made small comments throughout the stay towards our family and has made us uncomfortable to return.

We hold a monthly netwroking group at the hotel and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Staff are friendly, accommodating and helpful. Someone even brought over colouring for my son when we was a bit overwhelmed. The dining area is lovely, bright and open and the breakfast looks to be well stocked and has a variety of options available. Very happy with our experience and all my attendees at the event were happy too.

Appalling dinner service. Arrived in the evening after a 3 hour drive down. Check in was great and the room was lovely, but I went down for dinner and there was a function in the restaurant area. I ordered food and it had still not arrived an hour later. I enquired at the bar and was told there was a new chef on his own in the kitchen. When I finally got my food 15 minutes later, the waitress threw the plate on the table and the meal was not even as advertised. Very disappointing. Will definitely not be staying here again.

Car park- need to register but wasn’t advised to do so. Ended up with a bill. After a phone call it was sorted but could have been avoided
