On booking.com I was told there was a bath in the room and it wasn’t as some rooms don’t have that feature but wasn’t mentioned on this website

My wife and I enjoyed a very pleasant stay at No. 1 York. It's in a perfect location - walking distance from the train station, out of the hustle to the city centre but only a 10 minute walk to York Minster or the Shambles. Well appointed room with some nice touches like a access to a snack pantry. A nice breakfast available at 7:00 a.m. on premises. If you like a classic boutique style hotel this is the place for visiting York.

A serves breakfast rather than a buffet. Quality of meals and service. Decor and furnishings created very restful ambience.proximity to centre.

Restaurant closed for 2 nights of our stay for wedding receptions. No dine in facility.

From the check-in process through the intimate bar experiences and the interaction with staff members,the guesthouse exceeded even our best expectations.The standard has been set,and simply cannot be surpassed.

We were upgraded to a suite and it was absolutely gorgeous. We made so many beautiful memories in this hotel. The top to toe spa treatment was incredible. Sunday lunch and brekkie at pearly cow spot on, and cocktails of an eve in the bar. A mid week escape!

Beautiful neighbourhood location very central. Lovely staff and very dog friendly which made the trip for us. If you have a dog staff recommended homestead park. We had a lovely breakfast at the hotel and then walked to the park. We will definitely stay again.
