A lovely building and very comfy beds. Most of the staff were friendly, including in the bar and breakfast restaurant. Toiletries in the room are lovely, and the shower is powerful.

Not worth the money. This hotel has potential but is let down by a few details. The person on the overnight shift was unwelcoming and gave us no information - to the point we had to ask about breakfast and were directed to the booklet in our room. The rooms were clean enough but dusty and worn in places. Breakfast was fine but didn't feel like high quality ingredients and we've had much, much better in far less expensive/posh B & Bs - and much cleaner rooms. The building is not well sound proofed so you can hear every floorboard creak. Luckily we had respectful neighbours, but I can imagine this would really impact sleep for some people.

Thought charging for the car park at £25 a night was a little expensive

The hotel is beautiful and to a high boutique standard and design. The breakfast standard is very high and the restaurant offers fine dining. The staff went the extra mile for our 6 year old son by setting up a teepee with books, a yoto player and toys.

Lovely character, beautiful room, friendly staff, super comfy bed, amazing breakfast!!

No kettle in the room or in the pantry, I would have liked to make myself a herbal tea. Make sure to book parking with the hotel ahead of time.

10/10 all round. Stunning room with super comfy bed. Everything was clean and the pantry is the cherry on top.
