Small step into bathroom.

My second time at this lovely hotel. Staff are efficient and friendly, rooms are tasteful and a lovely luxury style. Very comfortable beds and quiet area. It's a 10minute walk into Oxford. Lovely pretty courtyard for drinks. Some parking availble too.

We enjoyed our three nights there. Everything in the room was quite perfect, except that we were on the ground floor, and there were occasional smells from the kitchen. The staff are all extremely attentive and helpful.

Excellent hotel with very attentive staff. The buffet breakfast was very good value for money.

Excellent location and promise of parking. Comfortable bed and good bathroom.

The designated parking space wasn’t there when we arrived. This was a nuisance and the Receptionist had to come out to find us somewhere else to park until the Hotel could subsequently move our car. There was a slug in our bathroom, which was removed. The room price was very high for midweek in April. Breakfast cost £30 each, so we went elsewhere. As we left we were asked to add a 5% room service tip on top of the £345 we had already paid for the night. While voluntary, this seemed like price gouging, particularly when the receptionist unjustifiably claimed it is now normal in the industry. First time I’ve come across it.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Rooms perfectly appointed and as you’d expect spotlessly clean. Plenty of staff and all very attentive. Guests travel here from all over the World and I can see why! We have stayed here before and will definitely return! Dined at Gees one evening - another beautiful premises but it is quite ‘clattery’ with so much glass! Not helped by a large table of people literally shouting at each other across their table to be heard - we could hear all that they were shouting down at the other end- might have been nice if staff asked them to turn their volume down slightly out of courtesy for other diners, an elderly couple seated next to us were of the same opinion. Other than that the service and food was tip top! Xx

The Old Parsonage Hotel is a lovely oasis in the heart of Oxford combing the charm of a building from 1660 with all the modern amenities. The terrace is a beautiful place to gather for tea, drinks, or a meal. The Old Parsonage Grill offers delicious food throughout the day and evening, and if you go to a sister restaurant, Quod or Gees, a complimentary Uber will provide transportation. The best part is the excellent staff who are warm and welcoming. They were exceedingly kind to us and we will always treasure our time there.

All went well. Perfect!
