A nice relaxing stay. Good choices for breakfast. Very comfortable bed and linen lovely and clean room too, with great facilities , iron, ironing board. Full tea and coffee making facilities and water available in room. Would have appreciated a mirror on the desk/ dressing table. Used the pool etc. changing rooms were not as clean as I would have hoped. But would most definitely return to The Spires! Well placed out of the city centre, set back from the road, handy for the river and very walkable into the city.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time there. We were happy with the size of the swimming pool,(changing room was very cold) location, beds. We would be happy to go back.

Cleanliness was evident everywhere, Staff all very friendly and helpful.

Loved staying here. Family trip with a car. Friendly staff and clean comfortable room. One bus away from the city. Great time.

Great hotel for any stay in Oxford. We came for a long weekend over and just wanted to explore the city centre area and relax. We especially enjoyed breakfast, wish there was a vegetarian meat option but wasn’t a huge deal as there’s so many other options. The staff/ service was really good. We had treatments and used the pool & jacuzzi which were great and easy to use - just wish that the changing areas/ showers were cleaner. We had dinner one day at Deacons and the staff were great but the food was expensive for what it was, I’d pass and go to the city centre instead next time. It was easy to take the buses into the city or just walk, took around 15 minutes and it would be lovely in the summer. Overall, would definitely visit again and recommend to others! Thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well.

A great hotel in a great location, a 20 minute walk to the centre. Easy to find and on site parking. Gym and other facilities also available (but I wasn’t able to make use of them). The room was fantastic, clean and tidy, good soundproofing. All the amenities were available- including an iron! Would definitely stay here again.
