The Ritz Cape Town

PLEASE DON'T NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL EVEN IF ITS FREE. The bathroom was nasty, hotel food was yucky, front desk agents very rude...all of them. Everything had an odor including the elevator. Please don't not stay here.

The Ritz Hotel in Cape Town is just rightly positioned . My comfort there was well achieved by them. The hospitality I got was quite exceptional. I really did enjoy my stay in this hotel

It was a last minute trip & by the time I booked this hotel there weren't many options left. I chose it because of it's location, and the pictures and description didn;'t look so bad on the web. But I was very disappointed. Although the staff was relatively friendly, the room was tiny and we saw 4 cockroaches during our 4 night stay! It did not offer free parking or free internet in any of it's public or private areas. The only nice thing about it was the pool area and the breakfast. Everything else was just awful. I would never stay there again.

The hotel is old and run down. There were bugs in the bathroom (be sure to plug the drains), and holes in the bed sheets. Having saidd that we had a terrific view, I liked the location, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was included and was nice and there is a revolving restaurant at the top of the hotel with great views.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, Staff was friendly, Hotel really great and the view was incredible. Will definately stay there again.

The Ritz Hotel, was a wonderful place to stay in Cape Town, South Africa. the staff was friendly a always willing to make our stay the best. the the cleaning staff kept the room clean. the jump on and off tour bus was only about two blocks away from the hotel and the hotel travel service workers were helpful. I would stay in this hotel when ever in Cape Town...

We spent 5 days in a Delux room in July, the Delux rooms seem to be corner rooms with windows on two sides giving a good view. The rooms showed their age but were clean. The A/C unit was old and noisy and it was the only form of heating. The breakfast was very good, cooked and buffet, on the morning we checked out they made us a packed breakfast as it was at 6:00 am. Overall this was a cheap hotel and you get what you pay for.

We loved our stay at the ritz hotel, specially the view out of our hotel room and the breakfast was devine..

we stayed for 3 nights to explore Cape Town. Safe, fine location near several local restraunts, markets. Great views. It's a short taxi drive to waterfront. Great free breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Old furnishings and building. Rooms could be cleaner. We opened the windows for fresh air. Quiet at night. R50 for overnight parking. Ok for the price.

The hotel reception is lovely and staff helpful. The hotel rooms are not what you see on the website but are average. We stayed on the 10th floor so had lovely views. We had no hot water for three nights we were there and there is no heater in the room and it was cold. The buffet breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful and friendly.
