Classic Lodges - The White Swan

Great position. Nice rooms. Great dining room.

The shower was too hot to use. The temperature control was faulty. (Room 206 and reported)

Location good. Breakfast average.

Bathroom cleanliness below average. Hairs in bath and on the floor. Grouting around the WC and other areas needs urgent attention. Not enough shelves etc., for toiletries.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Lovely period building with a grand dining room salvaged from the Titanic's sister ship Olympia.

Central location,very clean and friendly, good car park.

The staff where friendly and cheerful very welcoming. The room was a good size with a decent size shower room ,very comfortable room. Nice bar area very relaxing.it was ideally situated for castle,museums shops ,bars and restaurants and the playhouse .there was nothing really not to like.really enjoyed it. Would love to come back.The hotel is lovely but we would like to do room only.

The breakfast let it down, there seemed a good selection of cereals, dish of fruit ect,but we prefer the hot selection,the sausages where dense didnt like them ,the eggs, one was ok the other was snotty .The staff was pleasant and we like they served the coffee and toast .it just wasn't to our liking

Lovely hotel in the heart of Alnwick Beautiful breakfast area

Our experience at the hotel was impeccable. We loved the building and its history, the location was perfect- right in the centre of town, parking was available at the back of the property. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. I could not possibly mention anything negative about our stay at the White Swan except I wished we had stayed longer.
