Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort

I attended a conference here. The facility was pretty much perfect and the food for the conference was stellar. The view from the conference area was breathtaking. The beach is absolutely dreamy. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful. I could not love this place more. The only downside is that the internet wasn't super great. I will absolutely return to this place.

Location is great for everyone in the family, Beach Views out one side Mountain rainforest view on the other. Pools, Spa, Golf, Tennis all at one site.

Alejandro was wonderful and was very professional and attentive. I had gone down for breakfast and originally sat outside, but then moved inside due to the birds.

I will compare it to St Regis Rio Grande, but more affordable with good value!

Our family recently stayed at the Wyndham Rio Mar, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is one of the premier resort destinations in Puerto Rico. The resort has been beautifully renovated, and the property feels fresh, modern, and incredibly well maintained. The setting is absolutely breathtaking. You have the stunning mountains of El Yunque as a backdrop on one side and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean on the other. It's hard to find a more picturesque location. The pool area is outstanding, especially for families. The waterslides were a huge hit with our kids and provided hours of entertainment. The beach is equally impressive—clean, spacious, and perfect for relaxing, swimming, or simply enjoying the incredible views. One of the things that truly sets Rio Mar apart is the variety and quality of the dining options. It's rare to find a resort with so many excellent restaurants all on-site. Every meal was fantastic, and having such a diverse selection made our stay even more enjoyable. The golf course deserves special recognition as well. The course is in excellent condition, offering a challenging yet fun experience for golfers of all skill levels. Few places allow you to enjoy championship golf while surrounded by both lush mountain scenery and ocean views. In the evenings, The Vault speakeasy lounge was an absolute highlight. The atmosphere was unique, the cocktails were excellent, and the live performances were top-notch. It provided the perfect way to end each day. Most importantly, the staff throughout the resort were friendly, professional, and genuinely focused on making guests feel welcome. Wyndham Rio Mar has created something special—a luxury resort experience that offers incredible amenities, beautiful scenery, outstanding dining, fantastic golf, and unforgettable family memories. We cannot wait to return.
