"Beautiful Property"

While I wish I could give this 5 stars, there were some misses. While we there housekeeping only visited our room once, and no turndown service. At nearly $900 a night through Amex hotel collection the level of service does need fine tuning to justify that cost. Also, they only had one server working a massive pool area all 3 days we were there and several guests noted it was hard to get food or drinks by the pool. Also, the amex late checkout benefit wasn’t available yet when we left the room at 11 not a single house keeping cart was on the floor to turn over the room, they easily could’ve honored a 12 pm checkout instead of 11, so that was frustrating. All of the service staff we encountered were lovely, professional and friendly! Loved the iguana feeding with Shelley and Bianca so much! We also loved the renovated room with our view of the rainforest. This is a very beautiful property. Our kids loved the water slides so much. It is a family friendly environment while still remaining upscale.

Book it! You WILL NOT regret staying here!! Absolutely beautiful, clean, friendly staff. Great food. The pool and slides are so fun for adults and kids. Marina, Shelly Ann and Bianca were very friendly and generous! We will love to go back!

"Fabulous winter getaway"

We escaped northeast winter to Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest for five nights. We were totally relaxed by the pool and beach. We had outstanding times exploring rainforest adventure parks and public beaches to experience local venues as well as food. We plan to come back with our grandchildren in the future.
