Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest Beach and Golf Resort

I’m an hour and a half in trying to order something for a family member and the staff is useless. No one knows what’s going on. If it’s this hard to order flowers it must be a terrible resort. Good Luck.

Juan (lead server) was wonderful!! Could not ask for a better person. He made the experience the best!! The resort was beautiful and everyone that worked here we ran into were very friendly. The rooms were very nice and we slept like babies. Wonderful stay and we hope to be back soon. Can’t say enough about the resort.

Check in staff not helpful when I had difficulty checking in a 9pm after a long flight from the US. There was an error with my reservation and could not find a room for me at ANY price. Ended up providing my own transport to a Hyatt 25 min away. Came back the next day with no apologies about previous night's events. Also, I only ate 2 meals on site and had to wait 45-55 min for each even though I just ordered salads. I Pool and tennis courts were very nice. Facility and room were 4 star.

We recently stayed at the hotel for six days hoping for a relaxing beach vacation, but unfortunately the experience was somewhat disappointing. One of the main issues for us was the pool setup. There was loud music playing throughout the day, which made it difficult to relax. Had we known the pool area would have that type of atmosphere, we likely would have chosen a different hotel for our stay. We were also surprised by the limited seating. There were not enough lounge chairs available in either the adults-only pool section or the main pool area. Because of this, we decided to reserve cabanas. However, the only cabanas with seating for two were located at the main pool, which tended to be very crowded and filled with children. Since we were two adults looking for a quieter experience, it would have been great to have cabana options for two available in the adults-only pool area. Having more seating and quieter spaces for adults would make a big difference for guests who are looking for a more relaxing atmosphere. Felt the beach was not really swimmable or would want to sit and relax , Overall, the property and location have a lot of potential, but some adjustments to the pool seating and adult-focused areas would really improve the experience for guests seeking a peaceful beach getaway
