Beautiful outside and central

It was run down, rooms were damp with a terrible smell, pillows dirty. Outside amazing, inside not good.

Beautiful location, comfortable rooms, and friendly and helpful staff. The rooms lacked showers, however (bath only), making bathing slow (especially after muddy walks!) and washing long hair difficult, and the WiFi didn't reach the room. The cold breakfast options weren't great (we didn't try the cooked breakfast) and the evening meals were a bit hit-and-miss (the chicken livers and steak were good!). The bar had a decent selection. Be aware that the roads to the hotel, and to Hogsback more generally, are rough, with a lot of sharp-edged pot-holes! We got a flat en route and Hogsback has no garage for repairs.

No wifi in rooms, people can't have their own space or time in the pool area to enjoy because of a white lady said people can't talk in the pool area or play music softly in day light I would understand if it was morning or night
