Hotel Avenida Palace

Fantastic hotel with fabulous decor both in reception areas and the rooms. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the hotel went out of their way to make it very special for us. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice of quality food. The hotel is close to shopping and eating places and will use again if we are in Lisbon. Only one slight negative, the desk receptionists were not that interested in customer service unlike the porters and concierge who were friendly and helpful.

The Hotel Avenida Palace is an exceptional experience for a traveler to Lisbon. The location is in the heart of the city with easy access to shopping, dining, a train station. The hotel provides friendly professional service, parking on the premises, well appointed rooms and superb food. The rooms are quiet. The linens and decor lovely. We were sad to leave such an elegant hotel. It was great to be pampered, if only for a few days. We hope to return!

We loved our stay at this hotel. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, the customer service was top notch! The hotel is regal and in a great location. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay at Hotel Avenida Palace was a very special experience. Location was excellent, near transport - i.e. Rossio train station, Metro, trams all within minutes. Wonderful lounge and exceptional service. Have to mention Paulo the concierge who is very knowledgeable and helpful, Daniela in the restaurant but all the staff were helpful, friendly and took pride in their work.

5 star in every way. Fantastic location, gorgeous architecture and elaborate decor. Service was impeccable, loved having breakfast in such a beautiful setting, likewise cocktails and jazz in the evening in a lovely bar. Each day a little "gift" was thoughtfully provided. Great value, I didn't want to leave.

What a wonderful hotel to stay in the heart of Lisbon. Everything was in walking distance or near the trains. The room was impeccable and the breakfast outstanding. The staff courteous and so very helpful. Can't say enough. Would come back here next time. What are you waiting for, book now!

Avenida Palace is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Pictures do not adequately portray the beauty of the hotel. It is exquisite. The staff were so kind and helpful. All staff members spoke perfect English and always graciously conversed with us in English. The breakfast buffet, served in a lovely room by a wonderful staff, includes many types of delicious pastries, hot foods, cheeses, meats, fruits, champagne and freshly squeezed juices. The breakfast staff could not have been kinder or more attentive. A warm smile from the host greeted us each morning and delicious cappuccinos were delivered to our table. The front desk staff and concierges were always helpful and eager to accommodate our family. The housekeeping staff were also great and even left chocolates in our room each day. The hotel is blessed to have such dedicated and professional employees. We would definitely stay at Avenida Palace again! Thank you so much for making our trip to Lisbon such a wonderful and memorable experience. We already miss the hotel and Lisbon!

Avenida Palace is a lovely old hotel. It's location is unbeatable, right in the beating heart of Lisbon. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is fabulous. The lobby is grand, and there's live music every evening. Our room had a view if the castle. While very clean, the hotel is a bit outdated, with the decor of the rooms just ok. It is right next to the Metro, so there is persistent train noise.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The architectural and decorative details and the history are amazing. The staff is wonderful, breakfast was excellent, and little surprises along the way were greatly appreciated. Could not have picked a better location. Highly recommend!

Great hotel, room on 4th floor was excellent. Bed very comfortable, bathroom a little dated but clean, shower was excellent. Breakfast was excellent, great selection, breakfast staff fabulous. Bar service wonderful but not excessive. Reception staff very friendly, we were allowed an early check in and also a late check out. Very central, possible to walk to 2 metro lines in minutes, only 45 mins from airport on metro. Would stay here again.
