Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon

I had high expectations for the Four Seasons Lisbon given the brand's reputation, but unfortunately found the experience more corporate and less personal than I anticipated. While the location and service were adequate, the property felt like it was operating more as a business hotel than the luxury hospitality experience Four Seasons is known for. The rooms, while clean and functional, showed noticeable signs of wear that detracted from the premium feel you'd expect. Furnishings appeared somewhat dated, and small details like scuffed surfaces and worn upholstery suggested the property could benefit from a refresh. For a Four Seasons property, I expected immaculate attention to detail, but the rooms felt more like a well-maintained business hotel than a luxury destination. The overall atmosphere leaned heavily corporate, lacking the warmth and personalized touch that typically distinguishes Four Seasons from other luxury chains. Staff were professional but interactions felt somewhat scripted rather than genuinely welcoming. While Lisbon itself is a fantastic city and the hotel's location is convenient, I'd recommend looking at other luxury options in the area that might offer better value and a more authentic hospitality experience. The Four Seasons brand usually sets a high bar, but this particular property didn't quite meet those standards during my stay. Would I return? Probably not, given the other excellent hotel options available in Lisbon that offer better value for a luxury experience.

We were staying at this hotel for three nights as part of a tour that we were on, and it was outstanding to say the least. From the moment we signed in to the moment we signed out, it was a very pleasing stay at a fabulous hotel. Our room exceeded expectations as it was spacious, excellent facilities and super clean. The bathroom was one of the best that we have experienced across the globe and alone was worth the stay. Likewise the restaurant was excellent with a great menu both for breakfast and dinner with very attentive service staff. Special mention of the Front of House staff who all went the extra mile to ensure that your stay was memorable . All in all, this hotel is Highly Recommended and we will stay there again if we get back to Lisbon.

We had the most amazing tuk tuk tour of Lisbon, arranged by the Four Seasons concierge. Vasco, our guide, was outstanding — friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great insights about the city. We loved it so much, we extended our tour to 4 hours! The open-air tuk tuk was a fun and comfortable way to see the sights. Highly recommend this private tour and Vasco if you want a personalized and unforgettable way to explore Lisbon. Thank you, Vasco!

Like in other Fourseasons hotels, we got the best perfect services for everything. The room was comfortable with all needed amenities. The location is not far from the prestigious shopping Street - Avenida da Liberdade with all the branded boutiques. It is in an old building but already totally tenovated during the pandemic. All in all one of the best hotel to stay in Lisbon.

I stopped by after missing a connecting flygjt to New York and what a delicious surprise at the front desk and then at the bar for a scotch and soda perfectly served with an exclusive elegance … touch of class in Lisbon finally which is so rare …. The art collection is fine too as the beds enjoy Boris

The staff at the Four Seasons Hotels is one of the main things that makes their hotels so wonderful and we saw that at the Lisbon Four Seasons. From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a smile and the door is held open for you. The front desk staff and concierge team always welcomed us with a friendly smile and were very helpful, providing suggestions on sites to see and restaurant recommendations. Prior to our arrival we had booked a Four Seasons car to pick a family member up from the airport and when that family member was having a bit of trouble locating the driver the hotel staff assisted us very quickly and mere moments later all was well. The main floor of this hotel is quite large with a lot of seating and includes a lovely bar/lounge area to unwind and have a drink or a relaxing meal. The staff in the bar lounge are excellent. We enjoyed their club sandwiches and drinks. We had a large king room with an adjoining living area and very large walk-in closet as well as a large outdoor balcony. The room decor was very nice and our room was made up on a timely basis each day. It was fun to discover little treats left by housekeeping such as cleaning clothes for our glasses and souvenir coasters. During our stay the hotel did not appear to be very busy but that was nice for us. The hotel is well located to subway transportation to get to the touristy sites if you don’t feel like walking too much although we generally walked. We also found that Ubers and taxis in Lisbon weren’t too expensive.

Newly renovated modern luxury hotel, very spacious room with new features, beautifully decorated and very clean, comfortable. very friendly staff willing to help, make it a pleasant enjoyable stay
