Azambezi River Lodge

What a beautiful lodge on the banks of the Zambezi.From check in right up until check out everything was perfect.The guest relations manager Sibongile, floor manager Livhas... Natalie at reception... Barbara and Carlton... and many more...who have made our stay perfect in every way...words fail me...no amount of words can make up for the wonderful amazing birthday week I spent here.With my husband they planned such a beautiful surprise and even baked a cake for me...no charge to have a celebration on my birthday dinner cruise.Our room was perfect... the restaurant had thee most awesome food.Buffet breakfast had such a wide variety.It is so close to Victoria falls and has a shuttle to take you into town and the rainforest where you can do your walk to the falls.Everything was amazing 😍

Would visit again as the general atmosphere gives a good tranquil. The stuff are genrally happy and welcoming.

Tranquil setting of the hotel, right next to the Zambezi was amazing. Beautiful, lush gardens. Good service from all the staff and we had great times at the Zambezi bar overlooking the river.

Beautiful settings next to the Zambezi River. Beautiful green lawns and lovely swimming pool and lapa restaurant. Friendly staff.

A limited selections of wines. The wine list can improve. The prices of the soft drinks and alcoholic drinks were expensive and not market related.

Terrific place to stay. the shuttle to town and falls was excellent. staff were lovely and friendly abnd engaging.

The last time we visited this hotel was more than 30 years ago. The hotel has maintained itself very well as it just undergone a refurbishing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. When some of the items in the room were not working. The maintenance personnel will look into it promptly.

This lodge sits within beautiful grounds on the Zambezi river. The rooms were excellent and clean and the service and food good. The pool was very clean and lovely for swimming in. The highlight for us was the wildlife - warthog, monkeys, hippos, mongoose, elephants, impala and bush buck - that we saw in the grounds of the hotel and whilst eating in the restaurant.
