Lovely old caricature, food was exceptional

Poor cleaning, lots of dust, but not down to hotel contractors cleaning due to hotel closing end of September for repairs.

Standard of hotel is first class . Support from in house staff very good , altogether an excellent hotel

My only area is breakfast, after paying a fair but considerable amount to stay, I would expect breakfast. The continental offering whilst excellent in quality is lacking in choice and usual offering like cold meats , cheese .

Everything apart from the bedroom

Bedroom and en-suite very tired, not what I expected for this hotel. I had booked it as a special treat for my husbands birthday and really disappointed. I complained and they moved us to an alternative room but that meant someone arriving later in day would go in as hotel full. Didn’t expect car park to be in multi story car park for shopping centre. Hotel has limited spaces and still chargeable at £36 for length of stay. I would have thought that they could have included parking.
