Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Kalamazoo, MI

Affordable, other than that wouldn’t highly recommend. We got there and our room wasn’t ready. They changed the sheets and ours had blood stain and other stains on it. Nothing was plugged in, microwave, coffee machine nothing. It’s also noisy, the ac ticks every sec and so does the fridge. I couldn’t get pass the dirty environment.

Check in was easy and Caleb was very helpful. Wifi in the room was spotty- we had bad storms not sure if that was part of the issue, it wasn't a necessity for us so not a big deal. The room was nice, some work had been done recently you could tell. It was pretty clean. The price was good.

You cannot contact the property by phone and must use email, which takes days for a response. They wouldn't refunded my stay, but the communication was horrible. Avoid this place at all costs.

The room was what we expected - appropriately clean, air conditioning worked, etc. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. The biggest negative of this stay was the breakfast area. The selection was very limited - there were egg patties and sausages, but no English Muffins. There was juice selection, but no glasses nearby. The trash was overflowing, and I recognized a pizza box from the night before which was still on top of the trash 12 hours later. The tables had not been wiped and it was generally not inviting.

This property was the worst hotel I have even stayed in. The conditions of the hotel were disgusting. So much so that we went to the local Meijer to purchase cleaning products for the room. There was stool on the toilet upon arrival. The floors were dusty and dirty. We found several hairs in the bed. The shower had several down there hairs, that hadn't been cleaned for who knows how long. The sheets and bedding were stained and discolored. The room smelled musty.The ice machine was covered in mold. I felt gross and disgusting every time we were in the room. The only way I was comfortable was from cleaning everything myself and knowing a cleaning product had touch all the surfaces. Our fridge was filled with leftovers from the prior guest. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. You couldn't pay me to stay here again.

Long story short the only positive thing I have to say about this place was surprisingly the blankets and sheets were clean and fresh. Everything else not so much.....

The man at the front desk was very friendly and nice at check in. We were on the second floor. It is an old hotel under new management. The curtains were dirty. The bathroom door was sticky. There was some sort of filth on the wall that had been spilt. The carpet was gross. The shower walls were dirty and so was the shower curtain. Our door never latched at first closing and the alarm on the lock went off each time. The room across from us had several men working on it they had the door wide open and the exterior doors open. The back hallway smelled musty.
