From the moment we entered the lobby, our experience was above expectation at the San Juan Double Tree. We were quite early and Marcos at the front desk sped things along and we were in our room within 30 minutes. Marcos was helpful throughout our stay. The pool area was nice and clean and we particularly enjoyed the golf cart shuttle to the beach where they provided chairs, towels, and umbrellas. Make sure to get a Pina Colada at the beach , you won’t regret it. Definitely recommend!

This hotel exceeded every expectation we had. My husband and I travel a lot and I must say this is probably the most friendliest staff we’ve ever met. They were more than happy tohelp. The valet service was top-notch. Joshua and friends were amazing! they gave great suggestions and advice. The hotel was very clean, and the pool and hot tub were great. Having the golf cart to bring you to the beach and then being able to have chairs and towels is a great touch. We will be returning.

The DoubleTree by Hilton San Juan has a convenient location and the staff provided good service throughout my stay. The property is well situated for exploring San Juan, and the team was friendly and helpful whenever assistance was needed. However, there were a few room design issues that impacted the overall experience. If you’re traveling with someone else and staying in a double room, it’s important to know that one of the beds is a Murphy bed. Additionally, the bathroom features a frosted sliding door rather than a traditional door. While modern in appearance, it offers very little privacy, especially when sharing a room. Because of this, I often chose to use the restroom downstairs instead. Overall, the location and service were highlights, but the room layout and lack of bathroom privacy would make me think carefully before booking the same room type again.
