Quality Inn & Suites Houghton Downtown

Loved this hotel! It was clean, comfortable, great wifi, great location. Quiet. (I was there in off season, so not many people there). Exactly what i hoped for.

Very nice location walkable to downtown area. Room was okay. Toilet kept running had to try and fix multiple times. Room was right by building entrance heard everything in middle of night. Tried to go in hot tub but there was so much chemical it made your eyes burn.

The hotel was old, beds were uncomfortable. Contacting the hotel was terrible. Price was ridiculously high

It was tired, outdoors unkept, garbage overflowing all around, layout, parking situation, check in process, and room location to the parking lot were not accommodating to guests. Had we had more luggage than just one nights worth, I would have asked to change rooms. The pool was closed unknowing to us which really disappointed my kiddo and there was no empathy from the staff or offer to reduce the already outrageous rate, or do something to make up for the lack of pool. For what they were charging for this very tired location I would have expected some sort of positive, but we did not. Neighbors were loud due to thin walls. Could not open the windows to get fresh air and the a/c unit was not efficient. It was 85 degrees. There was 1 old coke machine that wasn’t even full. We will not be back.
