Quality Inn & Suites Houghton Downtown

Very nice clerk at the front desk.

We enjoyed our stay and some amazing shops and restaurants in the area.

Parking was fun, small lot in front and a couple behind

Love the sauna and access to the upper lot close to room

Breakfast not too interesting

Nice young people working there, took care of me when i realized the bed in my original room was broken and the room hadn't been cleaned properly. The rooms need remodeling pretty badly but the pool area seems well taken care of.

I knew this wasn’t a 5 star property, but this was well below my expectations. The wi-fi signal didn’t work in the room, just the hallway. The ceiling had a huge crack with a shoddy repair and for a three night stay we had no housekeeping. Would not stay here again, regardless of price.

You could see that the mattress sagged in the middle just looking at it. It was not comfortable. When we pulled back the sheets, we found a pair of socks. Gross. They appeared to be clean but I am not sure how after laundering the bedding and remaking the bed that the pair of socks would be in there. I won’t stay at a Quality Inn again anytime soon. P

Breakfast was fair.

Over priced for the condition and location of the room . We had a view of the vending machines and ice machine, which ran all night. Had to listen to the person above us walk around on a squeaky floor all night.
