Quality Inn & Suites Houghton Downtown

When i arrived at the hotel there was no parking available so i couldnt stay. Staff told me to park at some park someplace and walk back. I asked for a refund as i was leaving. They denied it and kept my money for a room i didnt use

Parking lot is very small, and trailer parking is nonexistent so you have to park across town

Absolutely horrible stay. We were unfortunately put on the 3rd floor right next to the pool. There were drunk guests the entire night coming in and out screaming down the hallway. Im talking 1130pm-4am. None of us slept at all because of it, both nights we were there. The building itself is set up very weird. All outside entrance. Hard to navigate with little pockets every where. Parking was horrible. 1 of our beds was completely broken on the end and you couldnt put any weight on it at all. Tiny, dirty and old. The bathroom was filthy with what looked like black mold on the bottom of the wall by the shower. I paid over 500 dollars for only 2 nights, so extremely disappointed and will never stay there again when visiting Tech.

We had a nice stay. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance, we will stay here again. The hotel is a bit older, but it worked great for us. The breakfast was hot and there were plenty of options.

The girl at the front desk was very nice. The room had cobwebs and the shower was not cleaned well at all. The curtains do not close all the way so people can see in your room.

Front desk attendants were friendly and attentive. The hotel was an old, worn facility but both bedding and bathroom counter in room were updated. Breakfast… hot foods were poor consisting of instant eggs, bacon and packaged instant oatmeal. Bagels, donuts, juice and coffee were fine.
