Quality Inn & Suites Houghton Downtown

Far below expectations. Very dated room. Burned out lights, damaged mirror, sink didn't drain properly, mold in bathroom, big puddle and lots of sand directly in front of main hotel lobby entrance. Where is the Quality part??

Friendly staff, location is good

Way over priced as they jacked the price up to $350 because of a graduation. Rooms are old , room was not very clean , bathroom tiny , needs updating . Brought our own breakfast as we don’t like fake eggs etc . No shuttle to and from airport , furniture old and very worn even in front lobby .

The room was fair to average. The were was peeling paint on the walls, bathroom outlet did not work. Beds were not very comfortable. The layout of the hotel is very strange with an addition on the backside. We had 2 rooms and they were spaced on opposite sides of the hotel. There is a ramp and a steep stairwell that takes you to the upper rooms of the hotel. The breakfast was fair to average. It was graduation weekend and the room prices were extremely elevated. In short, we did not get what we paid for.

The staff were very nice. The property is old, cramped, and inconvenient parking. But not dirty.
