Everything was lovely

Excellent

Hotel great for families, kids pool and splash pool good with lots of floats and toys . Rooms clean and fresh although basic - towels changed every day we wanted them, and cleaners in room every day. Shower only in room which was fine for us but my son slipped as no mat in the shower , this might be good for safety for young children , not sure if there were any rooms with baths but could be tricky for people with babies and very young children. Evening entertainment was varied and on every night seemed good but we didn’t go every night . Kids disco was great my son loved it although didn’t start till late 8:30-9pm. Food was good for Spanish all inclusive plenty and varied choice for adults although food was never very warm, kept on hot plates but didn’t seem to work very well. Only down side was lack of choice for kids with it being a family oriented hotel it was disappointing, myself like many others whilst we were there struggled for kids food my son lived on pizza and chips and some other picky bits, even chicken nuggets were only served one night whilst we were there. The snack bar wasn’t great it looked a bit dried up and was left out all day my husband and I didn’t have anything from it but my son ate the pizza and chips . All in all though good hotel . Resort was lovely and only a 10 minute walk from hotel as is the beach .

Completely perplexed why this hotel is rated as four stars. Staff were lovely, foyer quite posh and pools were great for kids. However you have to pay three euros a day to use the hotel room safe, and three euros a day to hire a kettle for your room (with no tea or coffee supplied). food was consistently awful: tasted like cheap ingredients and reheats (particularly the pasta and chips) or like it had been kept too long. Even the cereal was stale. The hot plate, where the eggs and omelettes were cooked, was thick with old fat. The whole set up had a school canteen feel. We were very glad we were only half board. Room was very basic and a bit tired looking. Beds not comfortable and bathroom smelt of drains. The kids entertainment started at 8.30pm which was too late. Not sure whether this was all a symptom of it being end of season but we won’t be returning. Menorca and its people are great. This hotel wasnt.

I cannot recommend this beautiful hotel enough, it’s our second time visiting & this hotel is amazing, the staff go above & beyond to ensure you are enjoying your stay & all your needs are met. it was my husbands birthday while we were there & the manager’s kindly left a platter of beautiful food & drinks for him.. there are so many things to do whilst there, lots of pools, great entertainment & great food, the staff are so very friendly & welcoming with a smile for everybody, we are coming back next year & we won’t be staying anywhere else but the Sol Falco,

On arrival the process was very smooth, our room was lovely and clean couldn't fault it. However we were on 2nd floor so had to carry pushchair up the stairs several times a day. Cup token process makes sense. We always just kept our cups all day until Can't moan about breakfast had same thing everyday by choice was lovely good selection to choose from. Sometimes a little cold but was a microwave provided. The pool is very cold sometimes to the point we didn't go in it. It's also very deep so the some kids can't really make use of the slides unless there prepared to submerge under the water on landing. The kids little pool seems most popular and it's the smallest pool but my kid still had fun! Pool areas very tidy and well manned by lifeguards. Games room and park was good used that nearly every day. Good selection of food for lunch and dinner love the meatballs and Mexican night food was very tasty. Drink jugs at dinner are brill saves you keep going up. Drinks in general were good cruzcampo as local beer was perfect for me. Entertainment was too late for kids but my kid enjoyed it when she did go. Adult entertainment we thought was more than reasonable they put alot of time and effort into their shows. We seen the hotel entertainment team and hired entertainment both can't fault. Marina for shops, bars and restaurants 10 minute walk. Beach 10 minute walk that was lovely and quaint went there few times sea was clear and warm! Local supermarket 5 minute walk We hired a family buggy bike thing from the hotel that was fun but was hard work! Overall really lovely holiday surrounded by friendly staff and friendly families. Was just the sort of holiday we needed Would definitely recommend the melia chain and sal falco hotel

Not the best stay,requested a ground floor room with pool view,first room had a view of a bush which blocked all the natural light out and had overgrown onto the balcony the room was very dark and dingy. the 2nd room had a pool view on the 3 rd flood 48 steps in total to the room,my wife has had a knee replacment which is why we paid extra for the pool view through tui.although hotel not full got told no ground floor available. onto the room very clean and cleaned daily,very basic basic furniture beds were 2 singles not joined up and honestly the most uncomfortable beds we have ever slept on,the pillow was just as bad.bathroom was acceptable. grounds were very clean,all staff we encountered were friendly and helpfull.location is very good,supermarkets near by and marina a 10 min stroll away. entertainment was of a pontins stadared 20 years ago. now the worst bit the food drink wise strange affair with tokens in the resturant the beer was nice and the wine drinkable,however in the bar the unnamed beer was awful the wine like cheap vinegar.ended up going to the supermarket for cans. food cold and bland typical all inclusive same salad put out for all 3 servings,you could tell all ingredients used were the cheapest available,biggest queue was at the microwave to warm food up,the little bits of cake on the desert section had no flavour at all and tasted the same,food hygene is not upto british standards,have stayed in 3 star rated hotels which are better than this,ended up eating at the marina a few times.tui should be looking at re classing this hotel.

El servicio de limpieza de las habitaciones podría estar mejor , un día no nos hicieron la limpieza, la señora vino a las 16 h y nos dijo que pasaría más tarde y no vino, tuvimos que llamar a la recepción para que nos vinieran a hacer el servicio. Creo que haría falta más personal de limpieza. La comida normal , hay variedad pero la calidad muy justa. Deberían de controlar más los aforos porque dejan entrar a todo el mundo a la vez y no hay mesas limpias disponibles. Las piscinas podrían estar más limpias. El personal muy bien , muy agradable pero podrían haber más actividades para niños y más variadas. En mi opinión sería más un 3 estrellas que un 4. También deberían de controlar el tema de las hamacas , la gente se lleva las hamacas de la piscina a su terraza y hay mucha gente que a las 7 de la mañana ya está colocando la toalla en una hamaca ocupándola y en muchas ocasiones no están en todo el día. This is a lower category hotel in the Melia chain, near 3* not the 4* and above we have stayed in previously and expected. The room was basic but had all amenities and the large bed was comfortable. General areas and pools were good amenities but the standard of cleanliness everywhere was low. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant, salad bar, breakfast cereals and cold food was decent. Fresh cooked food (in front of you) was good but food in self-serve areas was often cold and not tasty. Wine was dispensed from a tap (so not quality (!) while spirits at the bar were premium brands
