Baymont by Wyndham Grand Junction

More water pressure would be nice

I am an employee of another Wyndham hotel in the area. I made this reservation for my parents who live in Denver. Baymont by Wyndham Grand Junction does NOT ACCEPT locals at all and since my Wyndham account address is a local Grand Junction address they refused to even rent the room to my parents even though they have Denver addresses on their driver licenses.

Room very clean, updated. Nice!

The room itself was clean & comfortable. Our issue was with the staff. The moment we walked in to register, we were met with attitude. They were not happy to see us one bit. On our second day the “mistakenly” shut off our key card. Other than the staff, the outside is a mess. It’s dirty, litter everywhere, the office is cluttered with stuff. It’s just not a great place.

The staff was rude from the second we went in to register. The office is cluttered, not very inviting. The room at least was clean. The lot was a mess. There are so many options in Grand Junction, this should not be your choice.

Parking was too open to area around it. Not secured. Under- developed.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!! DO NOT STAY HERE! I wish I would have seen the reviews before I booked. But I was traveling on the road with a pet and needed to find something quickly. The conditions were very poor. They remodeled but still terrible. The little loveseat in the room was actually plastic. It was some type of faux leather but it was the most uncomfortable and cheap. The bed was hard as a rock and just as cheap.they never gave me a receipt despite the 5 times I called them to obtain. They continued to tell me they were sending it to my email. But it never showed up in my email or in junk email. He was rude and did not attempt to find a way console the issue such as take a snap shot and text to me.

WORST EXPERIENCE! DON'T STAY HERE PLEASE TRUST MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS AWFUL STAFF AT THIS HOTEL. I truly can't believe the way I was treated by 2 of the staff. It was Unnecessary and awful! They should be fired honestly. No way to run a business and treat your customers the way I was treated. Do they need to be reminded this is America!

Booked through Wyndham Rewards. Stay was just to get a few hours sleep on a long road-trip so the price was right. Hotel is located on a strip with several other hotels. First impression, why is there only 1 car parked in the lot when the other hotels have many. Got into the room and was pleasantly surprised that it looked the same as pictured on the website. That's where the pleasant part of the surprise ended. Got up to go to the restroom & turned on the light...2 ROACHES. Packed up & hit the road.

If you need a bed and a shower, “ok” don’t expect to get a breakfast, unless stale cereal and packaged donuts are your thing, or as the attendant described it “Hospital Food” Their website photos of the breakfast bar are a total lie, This is a Wyndham property, I’ll say no more
