No dinner and no breakfast as y ok I had to be up for ,7 o clock orr you got none

I think I got the bridal suite as my room was huge. Breakfast was great. It's barely 10 minutes walk from the station (which does mean it's a bit out-of-town).

Couldn't connect to the WiFi. Bar was closed - I don't think there was much demand for it though. The bed was quite low - might be an issue if your not so mobile. The stairs up to the rooms would be more of an issue though!

Didn’t like anything about the property.

Very dated needs bringing up to 21st Century. No one on reception, a message had been left asking you to contact a number where there’s no answer and goes to voice mail.

V large breakfast. We asked smaller next da. Food served promptly. Staff were always helpful. Location was decent for our purpose but trains noisy.

Surroundings just asphalt. Loose toilet seat. Refurbish should include bedside lights. First impressions were poor, no one on reception until chambermaid appeared. However slept OK and ate plenty.

The hotel was lovely and clean and in a good location.

The staff were never around. And the hotel door left open at night with no one managing the front desk. Concerning that anyone could just wander into the hotel.

Room and bathroom clean, bathroom seemed to have brand new fixtures. Room on top floor, nice view of a church and the Forth and the sunrise. Great breakfast and service at breakfast. Close to bus station and train station.

Reception didn't have staff in the morning for checking out. No lift in the building although receptionist ( on my arrival) offered help with carrying luggage.

Nice room, very close to the station. Just a quick train In to Edinburgh.

Bar was never open, would be nice to have a fridge in the room to keep drinks cool

Good location, bathroom was clean. potential to be good

No facilities! No bar, no food. Bed was very uncomfortable. Struggled to find the room, lights not working in halls, suspected blood spatter on the wall. All for the "cheap" price of £150! A hostel would have been better for a quarter of the price. Won't be back
