Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lexington, VA

First room was bug infested. Second room HVAC was not working and gradually increased 80+ degrees. Third room subpar and needed new sheets & blankets due to all being dirty. Breakfast was not stocked. Pool was not clean and also disgusting. Staff not helpful. Blew it off. Over $300 a night the night we stayed. Rip off. Highly recommend NOT staying here. Try Hilton or Holiday Inn. You’ll have better luck. Thanks!!

The property was conveniently located and, frankly, nicer than I expected. We stayed on the recommendation of a friend who was concerned about cost - he had stayed here in the past and found it to be a comfortable accommodation at a fair price.

The commodes in these places are so low as to be dangerous for older people. There are no grab bars and the tubs do not have anti-slip mats. It doesn't cost that much to make these places safe for everyone. I am a frequent traveler who typically spends one or two nights in a hotel before moving on. I don't need a pool, fitness center, or business center. I need a clean, comfortable bed and a clean, safe bathroom. That's all.

We had a personal emergency requiring EMS. Staff was very responsive and supportive. Went out of their way to help

The room and hotel in general smelled so strongly of bleach we decided it was not okay to spend the night in. We had to find other accommodations and the hotel/booking.com still charged us $150 for “cancelling” even though we only cancelled for health concerns that were out of our control and the hotels fault. We will not book there again when we go back to Lexington and we will not book anything through booking again as it added an extra layer of complication when trying to cancel and not be charged.
