Delta Hotels by Marriott Warwick

Booked on points and was utterly disappointed. I booked Marriott because they maintain a certain standard, or so I thought. I was given a room that hasn’t been refurbished since the 1980’s, it was awful. Marks up the walls, peeling paper, moldy bathroom… the list goes on. Having said that it was cleaned to a good standard and the sheets were mercifully clean. I had to be moved rooms (to yet another very tired room - even the receptionist apologised) as there was a holiday bus party that was having an event. The noise from this was actually shocking for a ‘Golden Oldies’ event. The live singers were so loud and the bass of the music ran the length of the hotel. The receptionist was so apologetic and even admitted that she couldn’t hear when the phone rang. I would never stay at this hotel again after being given an extremely substandard room because I had booked on points and for the level of noise that the hotel seemingly had no control over. The whole place brings the brand of Marriott down.

Comfortable room if not a little dated but nothing to ruin stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, hot and always well stocked. Will definitely be returning. Ideally situated for Warwick Castle and Stratford upon Avon.

Very Dated Room in slight disrepair, did not look like the modern decor on the booking pictures, and the TV did not work

Toilet was broken so just filled up with water all night. Proper annoying Still a nice hotel though

This is my second stay in property. Property is fine but faced issues with room both time. The housekeeping is a problem. They miss keeping basics toiletries on multiple occasion. The Electric kettle was broken and some rooms dont have iron.

Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. Room was tired and in need of updating and not reflective of promotional pictures.

3rd floor superior room 316 overlooking the roof below littered with noisy aircon units, wifi impossible to logon and TV switches off every 10 min. Reception moved us to 337 again overlooking aircon units, wifi did work but TV reception was horrendous. Ended up using ipad to watch tv. However, tempura fish and chips were lovely and the buffet breakfast was excellent. If you can put up with the constant noise of aircon units then its an OK hotel.

Whenever i book through Expedia, I get these terrible rooms on the 1st floor , cleanliness and the up-keep of toilets is quite bad on this floor.

I always stay at delta, this time i was given the room on the ground floor, it was in a bad condition, lights were not working, bathroom was old and dirty, the sink had water drainage issues, the room door kept making noises, even internet was very patchy. This floor seems run down without proper maintenance. I am again staying next week and the week after and do not want to stay on the ground floor as clearly its an unmaintained part of the hotel building
