"Dog Friendly Accommodation "

Overnight stay with our German Shepherd. This hotel is wonderfully dog friendly and all the staff very helpful

"Exceptional"

Overall a very pleasant stay, close to where we were visiting, easy enough to find,. Food was always available which was a big plus too. Would recommend to others visiting the area.

"Terrible night sleep"

The air conditioning was not working, we were not told about this at check in but the hotel were aware as a small very noisy fan was provided in the room. The fan was not fit for purpose and we both had a very poor night sleep due to the heat. It is disappointing that we were not made aware of the issue on check in.

Enjoyed our stay but lots of small niggles - extra charge for dog & parking not mentioned by Expedia, room (244) too dark to read, no bath plug, no liner for bathroom rubbish caddy, no soap (1 day), no normal tea bags (found downstairs), no BBC1 or 2 on TV. Worst thing was impossibility of direct communication - had to send a postcard! American robot gave me a case number and promise of 5 day contact, but nothing happened. Oh - and in the UK we have a Ground floor - not 1st!

We were in room 235 which badly in need of updating. Dreadful decoration especially in lobby area. ? Waterleak from upstairs. Small room with tired marked furniture. Not at all worth £125. Very disappointed as we need to stay in the area of Tournament Fields as our daughter and family live there and we are 2 hours away. Breakfast good though.

We stayed for one night, staff were all very friendly and the hotel itself is of a nice standard including the bar. The rooms are okay, we found it quite noisy and heard a lot of doors slamming.

No complaints. Just suggestions. Like almost all hotels, the lighting in the bathroom is terrible for people who shave with a razor rather than electric shaver. Meals were excellent. I recommend this place.
