Location is great. Really impressive looking hotel on both the inside and outside. Loved the quirky decor and wallpaper up the stairs. It was quiet at night which considering its location was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was fabulous, no faults there and we also enjoyed the live music in the garden, lovely touch. The singer was very good.

A couple of gripes. We paid for a superior room and it was like a small double and only had one bath towel? Only enough hot water in the morning for one of us to shower in the morning also. We parked in the hotel car park which had a sign displaying £19 for the general public to park for 24 hours. When we went to pay it was £17 for guests… I feel that a bigger discount was warranted for guests?

"Lovely regency hotel in wonderful location"

The location, our room was great and very happy. The bonus was the car park and the staff in the restaurant. Our suite was wonderful and we had a four poster bed. We stayed for 3 nights and the only negative was the boiler, which broke down in our final morning. It happens and it didn’t spoil our trip.
