Hotel Villa Ducale

Myself and Daughter visited last week and it was honestly incredible. The views were outstanding as was the service. The food was also delicious. I’m very lucky to have eaten in some amazing Michelin starred restaurants and this may not be on par with the food in those but the food was still amazing but for the scenery and service alone it is completely worth a visit. Highly recommend

Relaxed elegance in an amazing boutique hotel! What a beautiful hotel! This was a wonderful experience! The hotel is gorgeous with stunning views of the sea and Mt. Edna. Everything is top notch from the service to the room and everything in between. The family owners and their staff pay close attention to detail and anticipate your needs. They go above and beyond. Amazing breakfasts with a gorgeous view. Dinners are absolutely superb! Only the best for their guests!

Cannot rate Hotel Villa Ducale highly enough, it was just perfection. The hotel staff were was informative, attentive, friendly and were always going above and beyond. The restaurant was sensational, delicious and fresh breakfast every morning and a 5 star dining experience for dinner. The rooms were clean, comfortable, stylish and have amazing views over Taormina, even the shower pressure was enpointe. The hotel is in a great location offering a shuttle service into town which is so convenient and has affiliations with several beach clubs. Would love to go back, the hotel and staff really did exceed our expectations, haven’t had service like this for 20 yrs,

A beautiful view! Couldn't get enough of it. Everyone on the staff was amazing. They gave lots of recommendations and were always willing to help with anything we needed. Their customer service was exceptional. The rooms were very clean. We used the free shuttle into town often. It was a great perk to avoid the steps on hot days. Would definitely go back!

Spent 3 wonderful nights there. Beautiful property in a stunning location. Rooms were great -very comfortable, clean, well appointed. Restaurant was excellent. Hotel has a free shuttle to and from the Taormina restaurant and shopping area. The greatest feature is the service - you are treated like family from arrival to departure. Very highly recommended!

Villa Ducale was a perfect place to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The views of Mt. Etna and the Ionian Sea are spectacular. The level of customer service was amazing, including reception (special shout outs to Daniel and Sabine), the restaurant servers and chefs (delicious), the shuttle drivers and maid service. We received assistance with reservations, shuttles to beaches, and suggestions for ways to make our experience even better, including hikes to town, the beach and Castelmola. Taormina is a beautiful destination and Hotel Villa Ducale elevated our experience immensely. Thank you!

The staff especially in the restaurant was wonderful. We had dinner in the restaurant twice and both meals were delicious and the view is beautiful.

We had a luxury sea view suite which was very expensive for what we got. The pool is very ordinary and our suite had two balconies which we couldn’t use as the seating was extremely uncomfortable. Personally we found the location inconvenient as it is quite a distance from the town. The hotel shuttle helped but inconvenient none the less. Unfortunately overall we were disappointed as it was very expensive.

A beautiful hotel where we were made to feel at home from the moment we arrived. Away from the heaving town centre with stunning views we were warmly welcomed and looked after during our stay. Daniel was a star and provided us brilliant guidance and recommendations.. all the restaurants suggested were a hit! Our room (junior suite) was spotless and very comfortable with a huge bed. If we had one gripe it would be that there was no water provided in the room but had to purchase a bottle at the bar. A small touch of providing a cold bottle of water in the mini bar would have been the final touch on an otherwise perfect stay. The complementary shuttle service to the town was a great touch and we used it regularly… you’re looking at a €20 taxi each way otherwise. The restaurant has stunning views and breakfast was plentiful. Had both dinner and lunch from the a la carte menu and the quality of food was high it not a little pricey. Definitely recommend a stay here and we’ll be back for sure.

Great personal service, great breakfast buffet we delicious choices. Shuttle hourly up and down to town. Shuttle to beach clubs our favorite was Carvella beach club.
