Holiday Inn Brighton Seafront by IHG

Sea front location

Called ahead to see if I could upgrade to a seaview room that was showing as available rather than the “part sea view side room” I was told that was fine and I could pay the difference on arrival. When I arrived the Reception staff denied all knowledge of my phone call and they no longer had a seaview room available, so extremely disappointing. I took at the dingy room, the dan didn’t work, nor did the socket… I wasn’t happy so didn’t stay and found alternative sea view accommodation nearby, thankfully

The Hotel was clean as was my room. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful, especially when allowing storage of luggage after check out. all in all a good place to stay.

Nothing really was down for a wedding so the Hotel was a perfectly adequate location

The room and balcony was so dirty I didn’t want to spend any time in either. Shame because all the staff we spoke to were brilliant.

Room was not cleaned had to change rooms to start room was looking really tired wallpaper lifting off walls in places .nets marked and dirt Bed was horrible to sleep in sagged in middle so much couldnt sleep

The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was exactly what we wanted, from helping with rooms to booking taxis.

The rain but unfortunately the hotel could not change the weather

Staff was very, very friendly and helpful. Great view of the sea, great breakfast with lots to choose from and vegetarian sausages very much appreciated. I forgot my phone, staff member ran after me to give me my phone which saved me from a lot of trouble. Check in staff, cleaners and breakfast room staff very friendly and helpful
