Unique Suites Hotel

Good for area, has lots potential but minor things need lots of attention.

It was quiet and had a nice area for guests outside if one stays long enough to use it. And a pool outside when in season

There was basically no staff. Even with only a 8pm check in. The restaurant is shut down and there’s nothing indicating that on the booking site. It has been for at least over a year. It was the main reason we booked there. So that was a huge let down. The walls are thin but luckily most were quiet anyway.

I was overcharged. They have made an incorrect charge to my account, adding a day for which I did not stay. They charged another person's room to my account. I cannot get the owner or management to rectify this situation. Very frustrating to put it mildly.

It was in a centrally located place which was convenient. Breakfast was ok, but nothing fabulous. Rooms were comfortable, but could have used a few more towels. Will stay again when visiting. Front desk staff were very friendly

I'm not a fan of doors opening to the outside that don't close completely. No one knew how the fire pit worked BUT staff was kind.

I question the reviews however Im guessing its possible others have stayed when the restaurant was open and it was fully staffed. The bed was good n shower was good. No coffee or coffee maker in the room. 👎 The cleanliness coykd have been much better BUT I'm guessing the pay isnt based on performance. Ultimately $100 was a bit much in my opinion.

The fact that I only stayed 1 night and the morning I was leaving house keeping couple came knocking at the door at 9am. What the hell for. I was checking out that morning. But even if I wasn't don't knock on guests doors at 9am.

Restaurant and bar are closed and have been for over a year, which is not as advertised. Doors and floors are filthy in the rooms. Most importantly the walls are SO thin and you can literally see light from adjoining rooms under your door, so you hear EVERY word people are saying. People five rooms down were so loud that we left and found a better hotel (Hilton in Mattoon).
