Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Williamsburg Historic Area, VA

We checked in, went to our room, walked in and saw filth all over the vents, mold in the shower, vent covers hanging off the wall, light bulbs missing, dirty bad paint. Breakfast meat was undercooked, food supply was always empty, had to find employees to restock.

Mattress were not comfortable. The pool was cold. Mold on ceiling in room. Should have been better for the price.

We enjoyed our stay

The check in/out process was fast and staff was friendly. The room was as expected & clean. Hallway carpets were a little dated, if anyone cares about those things. Breakfast was typical- there were (make your own) waffles, fruit, juices, eggs, danish, toast etc. I like that there was good turkey sausage links. The indoor pool was a good size- 5 feet & clean. The only negative I have is that the hot tub wasn’t really hot and it was not fully clean. It could be because we went first thing in the morning but it wasn’t a big deal to us. A good location, close to restaurants, Busch Gardens, Outlets and historic sites. Overall, we would stay there again.

The best part about coming to this property was the day we left!!!! This should be a 1/3 star hotel

Smells and the restroom was dirty

Even though the hotel wasn’t brand new, it was clean. We appreciated that!

The entire experience with the Expedia reservation with Country Inn & Suite in Busch Gardens Williamsburg was a nightmare. First off, the staff at the Inn canceled my reservation without confirming with me and assumed that another person with a similar name was a duplicate reservation even though we everyone has unique confirmation numbers, credit card info, and billing addresses. Even upon the employee (night shift) fixing the reservation issue, we arrived to deplorable conditions in the room. The smell of mildew/mold blasts you in the face as soon as you open the door, dead flies around the AC unit, and the floor was sticky and damp. I ended up canceling the reservation since the placed did not have any other rooms available. I will never stay here or recommend this place.

Could hear the people upstairs all night, bathroom was outdated and noisy, first floor could smell the chlorine from the pool in the room
