The property had a lot of character and the staff were excellent . I just felt that the property was a little tired
I have been there many times before . Myself and my family went there for a special reason .
This was a much needed holiday for us. The hotel was very good as was the area. A couple of very nice restaurants which were close to the hotel. Weather was good apart from one thunderstorm with wind and rain. There was dust in the bathroom but everywhere else was very clean. One member of the bar staff seemed to be unprofessional and had his “favourite” customers. We had to go to the bar and ask for drinks, but he didn’t listen and brought us the bill to sign instead of bringing the drinks!! All other staff were excellent and very helpful booking taxis and printing boarding passes. Would stay again.

A stunning location, magnificent views. A fabulous room overlooking Lake Garda, completely breathtaking! Hotel very comfortable with lovely lounges and a breakfast room overlooking the lake with it's own terrace. Breakfast was perfect with a very good choice of good. Would definitely return for a perfect relaxing holiday.

Old comfy hotel, you can feel the 80's spirit. I like it. Clean with excellent bathroom amenities. Large rooms. Located on a small town Gardone Riviera, immediately on the lake shore. Can be reached by bus (35 min) from the nearest train station (Desenzano). Negative: no coffee/tea amenities in the room. No available private car parking. (There is public car parking lot across the streat) I would recommend it for relaxation.
Fantastic location,Great staff , wonderful food. Drinks are not cheap. However the whole package is wonderful. We stayed for 3 nights B&B . We dined in the alicart restaurant one night it was lovely service with style in a magnificent setting .

Never again would we stay here. The hotel has a great location next to the lake, but is tired, run down and grossly overpriced. We paid a lot for a Junior Suite and were expecting a sumptuous stay wonderful surrounding & décor with attentive staff. The opposite is true. The view was great but that was all. On arrival at the hotel the welcome was 'lukewarm' and our impression throughout our stay was that it was once a 'grand hotel' that has been poorly managed and let go. It is now run down and in need of substantial updating. On top of our overpriced suite, and to add insult to injury, the hotel charge 5 Euros extra for a poached or boiled egg at breakfast and a further 5 Euros per day for a pool side lounger cushion per person. We also had to pay 14 Euros per day extra for parking. Outrageous given the cost to stay in the hotel! The breakfast was mediocre at best, and more like a 3* hotel; no sliced fresh fruit and a limited choice. We avoided the restaurant for all other meals. I was also expecting water sport facilities but there was nothing provided. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!
