Absolutely perfect , the scenery around amazing . It felt like we had drifted to another world . We had a warm welcome with a traditional dance and daily evening cultural dance experience was wonderful , giving us a chance to learn about culture right at the hotel itself . The views of the river were beautiful , our room opened to its beauty and it was simply relaxing . The staff were ever so helpful , it was truly the Taj experience with amazing food . Beautiful location overlooking the Cochin port, near the Fort area and Mattancherry. It is about an hour's drive from Cochin Airport. It is a quiet property that has a heritage wing (where we got our rooms). The rooms are beautifully appointed. Ours overlooked the water. Great firm bed, good pillows and a lounge sofa in room. Quick, Efficient room service. We availed of travel desk services to arrange for airport pickup, Cochin houseboat and city trip and Munnar dropoff. Special mention for Mr. Pauly at the travel desk - flawless arrangements and timely replies to email. We used their restaurant called Pepper for our meals - reasonably good buffet. Great staff. Front desk was very courteous and efficient. We had mistakenly reserved for an extra day, but they adjusted as best as they could - saved us some money :-) Very pleasant stay. Will stay there again if we visit Cochin.

Fantastic dining facilities, great food and prep. We enjoyed all the restaurants and the food. Fish, meats, and Kerala specialities were especially good. We loved the toddy, and other cocktails. Our son really enjoyed the great music.

This resort is a heritage property consisting of old and new wing. Sea view facing premium heritage wing room had a lovely ambience and the harbour and unending Arabian sea view. Coming to the experience Subhangee at room Reservations was very helpful available any time of the day during prebooking. MsJasmine and MsAngel made us feel at home the moment we stepped in to the hotel. My wife's sister with her husband were visiting us from US and it was their first visit to Kerala visit and they fell in love with the hotel. Front officer manager, Ms Cinderella, ensured we were comfortable through out our stay. Just like the fairytale, Ms Cinderella, gave us a comfort which is no different than a fairy tale. Chef Nikhil and his team dished out mouthwatering vegetarian food. The resort had long stay overseas guests which itself speaks volume of the resort's room and its facilities and the resort's staff courteous service and Taj's service motto where the staff never says No for any guest requirements. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent hospitality in all respects! Welcome dance to lunch and breakfast, everything was to the perfection. We were keen to have local breakfast which was also served to us though it was not on spread. Truly appreciate the way everyone went out of the way ! Mr Ajith was very friendly and helpful in selecting our order for our lunch.

We are so glad we decided to have 2 instead of only 1 night just before we flew back home. We arrived early evening, received a beautiful and comfortable room (free upgrade) and mainly relaxed the next day at the hotel. Pool, sauna, steamroom, hot jaccuzy were super. Breakfast and dinner were so varied and so very tasty. As we had to leave at the crack of dawn for the airport, the hotel provided us with a breakfast hamper of our choice. We will reccomend this hotel to our friends. Of all the luxury hotels we stayed in this was the best, but also the priciest.
