The ambience was amazing, so scenic and calm

My husband and I have travelled extensively over the years and decided to stay at this hotel and upgrade to a Palace suite overlooking the ocean! From the moment we entered the property we were overwhelmed with warmth, hospitality and excellent service! The food was absolutely outstanding- frankly the best fish dishes either of us have ever eaten. Would happily stay again. 10 stars!

Such a friendly and comfortable hotel. The service excellent and the food very good. Room was to a high standard and very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

It’s a lovely hotel , with sweeping views of the harbour from the rooms. It’s a great place to stay while visiting the Biennale. The highlights for me: - the Tower suites were very spacious with great views . - the service levels are off the charts . Elizabeth contacted us prior to our trip to help us and understand our preferences . She and the front office staff were extremely helpful, even with day to day activities. - the dinner at Rice Boat is a must . Please book in advance. - the Ayurveda spa was nice . The one small improvement can be at the breakfast area , which seems chaotic at times .

We had a lovely and comfortable stay at the Taj Malabar in Kochi. The attention to detail, the great hospitality and service continue here as in all Taj properties I have stayed at earlier. There were no issues at all during our stay and I loved the view from our room. We had a suite room with balcony and the morning and evening tea/coffee sitting there were memorable.

Recently we were there at Taj Malabar and we had a great and memorable stay. Me and my husband celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary and wanted to mention Ms. Elizabeth here she helped me for arranging a wedding surprise for my husband and room decoration.she have arranged a tasty cake .thank you chef i don't know the name but the chocolate cake was very tasty . thank you housekeeping team for doing such a beautiful decoration. This was our first time we have stayed in taj .we have also enjoyed sunset cruise.had a very sweet experience. Food was very tasty breakfast and dinner. But we missed that 1 drink which was included in our package hope we can have it when we will be there. once again Thank you Ms. Elizabeth thanks for making our stay, experience memorable thank you taj .

Some hotels offer a room. The Taj Malabar offers a stage. Our room opened up to an expansive harbour view, and at sunset it felt less like accommodation and more like front-row seats to God’s own light show. We were welcomed with Mohiniyattam. Grace slower than the tide outside. By evening, the dance returned to entertain you, Dolphin’s Point restaurant deserves its own applause. Fresh grill, good wine and open air by the water. The complimentary 40-minute harbour cruise was a gift. Seeing Kochi from the water, the port, the coastline, the rhythm of the city, along with a lovely commentary by Elizabeth (manager guest relations), added a perspective most visitors never get. Housekeeping was precise without hovering. Service was polished without stiffness. And then there were the stars. Elizabeth, Alex, Shaji, Fathima. Warm, attentive, and human. The kind of professionals who do not just do their job, they elevate it. Five stars, yes, but more importantly, five reasons to return.

The early morning yoga, the friendly staff and the extremely comfortable beds.

Room was not at all soundproof so could hear a lot from the next room. Food and drink was expensive.
