Our stay at this hotel was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Everyone was extremely accommodating, kind, and easy to work with, which made our honeymoon feel truly special. Elizabeth was especially wonderful. She gave us a fantastic tour on the boat and helped us book excursions we wanted to do, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. Her attention to detail and customer service really stood out and made our experience even more memorable. Overall, the service and hospitality made our honeymoon stay amazing. We are so grateful to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a truly special stay.

Amazing property and amazing staff

I keep coming back to this property since so many years now . My family loves the place too and its a step above any 5 star property in kochin . Its about the intangibles really , the warmth of the staff , the serenity of the backwaters and the kind of crowd that comes to the hotel . Always feels like our home away from home to us .

We visited during Ramadan and were fasting. Everyone took such special care of our fasting timings. Staff worked at odd hours to feed us . Big thank you to everyone working in the hotel. You guys are amazing. The property is breathtakingly beautiful. Definitely one of the best hotels in India.

To be honest, this was one of the best stays we have ever had at a Taj property. Our experience at Taj Malabar Kochi was absolutely wonderful, even though it was just for a day. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that Taj is known for. The location of the hotel itself is breathtaking, with beautiful views that instantly create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Every member of the staff we interacted with was soft-spoken, humble, and extremely courteous. They were always ready to assist with a smile and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The food was simply amazing. Each dish was prepared with great care and tasted delicious. The dining experience truly reflected the high standards that Taj hotels are known for. What made the stay even more special was the attention to detail and the way the staff ensured that every small need was taken care of. Their professionalism combined with genuine warmth made us feel truly valued as guests. Overall, Taj hospitality was at its absolute best here. It is hard to beat the experience offered at Taj Malabar Kochi. Even though our stay was short, it was memorable and left us with a wonderful impression. We would definitely love to return again in the future.

Located on the tip of Willingdon Island, this spa resort offers relaxation plus views to the constant port traffic and activities. With most rooms you get a view of container ships, metro water taxis, fishing boats and sailing boats. It's a daily evolving and changing picture. There's also a lovely swimming pool, but you need to rise early (7.30ish) to get your towels down and reserve, although people move on from lunchtime. The rooms are clean, well fitted, with adjustable aircon and a very comfortable bed. Laundry service excellent and extra towels or snacks (some chargeable) on request. All the staff were terrific. The manager of our section in the breakfast area (didn't get his name) was great since he highlighted the delights of the special menu which chefs cooked to order (no extra charge). I ate the recommended masala utthapam every day! The buffet selection was terrific and very extensive. Guest services were very helpful - especially Elizabeth who was always attentive and happy to help. All the staff throughout the hotel couldn't be faulted. It should be noted that both Brunton Boatyard (visited for dinner) and Forte Kochi (visited for tea and snacks) have a great location, but recent reviews indicated that there were issues with noise early in the morning from port activity. We enjoyed our visit to both, and their locality gave a nice 'Old town" vibes. Modern hotels have good sound proofing so I would happy to stay at either. Certainly recommend the high tea and harbour cruise experience (chargeable) early in your visit to get a better understanding of the locality. Elizabeth was our cruise guide and as we passed the "old town" she informed everyone about a festival in the old quarter, which we really enjoyed visiting. Finally, we didn't have time to enjoy the Spa facilities, and we would recommend staying a minimum 4 nights.

L’emplacement est exceptionnel mais la vue sur le port industriel ne m’a pas conquise. Il vaut mieux regarder vers l’hôtel lui-même que vers l’extérieur

The Taj Malabar is an excellent hotel. It’s situated in an industrial area, but the hotel itself is very nice, as are the grounds. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Taj Malabar.
