ibis Birmingham Bordesley Circus

Good location but that was the only benefit. Beds uncomfortable and small, we looked at a twin and double, both undersized and both with the 'ibis' style bed, as when mentioned to staff about matress being too thin, was told that they all the same. Room small and smelt damp, not enough ventilation in the bathroom. Facilities in tea and coffee limited, as with toiletries. hotel deco overall was very basic, I would describe as a hostel rather than hotel. The room was noisy with a constant hum/buzz all night which got louder in the morning, all together resulting in 2 very bad nights sleep. Worst buget hotel chain i've stayed at.

Location is good and parking. The staff are pleasant and the breakfast is served up to 12pm.

I stayed for 5 nights at the Ibis Bordesley circus and I have to say I was impressed with the rooms and the staff. The hotel is very nice and modern, and the staff were lovely. My only problem was the mattress and pillows provided were not very comfy, but of course that is subjective. I will definitely be going back to stay as the location is fantastic!!

Never stayed in a Ibis before, but it was all good i liked the pod style bathrooms and minimal styling it was all quite funky. My only negative was that someone had damaged the window handle and so it didnt fit perfect and road noise was quite an issue. But i wouldn't let that put me off staying at another in the chain.

Room was just above the bar area so I could hear the music. Handy and much cheaper than an airport hotel.

Handy for work. Very busy with Birmingham City supporters

Hotel was very clean, secure and welcoming. The bed was very Comfortable and the shower had great power and heat behind it Only down side for me was the heater was too noisy to have on and it was a cold night. I have a medical condition and if I get cold I’m in great pain. Couldn’t sleep and couldn’t get warm so got up and checked out early in the morning to go home. I was planning on a sleep in as checkout isn’t until 12 but all in all uses the room for about 5 hours for £87. Would have been fine had I taken nightwear and hot water bottle. If you are returning late like me you need to get security to let you back into the car park.
