Perfect location for easy access to train station. Room very clean & quiet and comfy bed. Highly recommend staying here.

Top 5 TV channels didn't work, confined to SKY TV. Staff familiar with issue. Had to go to lobby twice to resolve in absence of promised maintenance man. Room pokey and bed lumpy. Had a bad night's sleep in consequence. Staff friendly and helpful (save as above). Not worth the £198 for a single night.

Almost everything was perfect. The location is great except that taxis refused to take me from the station because it is so close, but I struggled with my luggage. Staff polite and progressional at all times. My upgraded room was lovely and the bathroom was excellent with separate bath and shower. Surprisingly quiet apart from one evening when fellow guests were having a party, but that didn’t last too long; perhaps someone complained. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of flavour but the pain au chocolat was lovely. A couple of negative points both to do with cleaning. The surface cleanliness was great, but there must be a lot of ingrained dirt in the carpets because when I walked around in socks they got filthy, I appreciate they can’t do a deep clean of the carpet after every guest’s stay, so not exactly a complaint, more of a warning to others. The other was that the duvet was very grubby inside the clean cover, and it poked out the top corner, which was very unsalubrious. They apparently changed it the third night, but really this should not happen at all.

Excellent location and facilities for our event, very professional and helpful organisation when planning our event, second time we have used the Malmaison Manchester and I am sure we will return. Feedback from delegates on the venue was excellent.

Great overall but loses a star for charging 15 quid for checking out at 12 rather than 11. Only hotel I have ever stayed to do this, despite asking. A bit cheap on their part
