"Not worth it"

The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. I paid for an upgrade which I did not appear to get and although I made a complaint no action was taken.

"Lovely place, disappointing stay overall sadly."

We loved the position of the hotel being walking distance from the town,, but our room was up and down small stairs which wasn't very easy to negotiate with luggage.

The bed was a bit hard, and although we booked room only there was no service in our room done as we stayed for two nights. The window didn't open so there was a fan in the room instead which although not ideal, it was ok. It was news to us when we arrived - that we had to pay a car parking charge of £5.00 for each 24 hours when we parked in the grounds of the hotel, this was not made clear on booking, so we felt this needs to be clearly highlighted.

"Very enjoyable"

Location was perfect for us. Facilities met our expectations. It was lovely to enjoy a glass of wine in the outside area in the evening.

The hotel is a bit tired in places but it didn't negatively impact our stay.

Basic but nice and clean. Close to the centre so could park up and walk the few minutes to local amenities.

Only 1 pillow each, looked for others but non available. Personal preference though.
