Best Western Plus Pioneer Square Hotel Downtown

Needed a downtown hotel for an early business meeting and discovered the Best Western Plus in Pioneer Square. Ideal for easy access to the business district, it's also the perfect jumping off point to explore downtown Seattle. Whether you need to be near the business district, the medical facilities, or Pike's Place, you're within easy walking distance for everything from the Space Needle to the ball parks. The hotel is full of history itself, dating back to the earliest days of Seattle. The lobby includes a public-use computer, vending/coffee machines, elevator, and a small area for the complimentary breakfast...which is perfect to get your day started. I had a room with a king bed on the 4th (top) floor and it measured about 15x20, with full bath, desk, and armoire. There was ample room for suitcases and other travel items. The room was clean and comfortable, and the guest guide on the desk contained a wealth of information...including the entire history of both the local area and the hotel. I highly recommend taking the 30 minutes to go through the guide...incredibly informative. Even though you're downtown, there was virtually no street noise. There was also very little noise from the adjoining rooms, either, which made for a great night's sleep. While there's no gym onsite, the front desk offers a "gym in a bag" (yoga mat, small weights, and resistance bands); they can also get you a day pass to the nearby "Crossfit" facility. Parking is indoors (additional charge), but extremely limited and on a first-come/first-served basis. The garage and associated stalls are small, with a low roof...so recommend a midsize or smaller car. There are about half a dozen stalls in an adjacent garage for larger trucks but, even though your vehicle may fit, getting a vehicle longer than 16 feet in and out of the entry is a bit challenging. The staff at the hotel was top-shelf...extremely polite and professional. Check-in was quick, and included all information required to navigate the hotel and its amenities. Of note...while most of the soda machines stock Coke products, the machine on the second floor has Pepsi products. A great location, well-maintained facilities, outstanding staff, and an excellent price point. Whether you need a downtown hotel for business or pleasure, I highly recommend The Best Western Plus at Pioneer Square.

The hotel is lovely! Love the old charm and the employees were great. It was a great location and lots to do within walking distance.

The bed was a little firm for my comfort but I would still stay there again.
