Bailbrook House

Beautiful hotel, our room was extremely quite. Lovely big room & bathroom. Staff were excellent, especially in the restaurant. The food was very good. Would recommend.

I’ve stayed at this hotel on several occasions , and have found everything about it suited my needs, beautiful grounds , not far into Bath, staff always polite and cheerful, my first choice of hotels in Bath .

Hotel was amazing, staff were excellent. Amenities & room were fantastic even fresh milk in the fridge and gluten free biscuits. Breakfast staff were exceptionably good & service from them was excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning. We are grateful to Visit West.

I'll keep it simple. Superb hotel and experience. Stopped on business with meetings in hotel. Perfect. Food amazing. Staff and service flawless. Several of the group wanted to move in and live here (though not in a Fawlty Towers scenario). Thankyou. Pay rises all round please.

Great service and good food

This hotel was outstanding in every way. The staff were pleasant and helpful, food was excellent and the function we went for was handled brilliantly . We couldn’t fault our room

We stopped for an overnight at the Bailbrook House on our way to Cornwall. We were early for check in so we had a bite to eat in one of the sitting rooms. Ramona served us and was very delightful. The room was in the new section and was very well appointed . We had dinner in the bar area which was very nice. Our server , Oliver, did a great job and the food was excellent. The morning breakfast was also very good. The whole experience was delightful and we will be definitely coming back. Thank you, Ramona and Oliver, for your excellent service !

The hotel - it’s ok… on par with a Hilton I would say. Our room was a little outdated but all in all it was clean. The bed and pillows were both extremely comfortable. Breakfast - it was ok, we’ve had better. Nothing to write home about. There seemed to be lots of staff but only one of them was rushed off his feet doing everything. We asked for two teas, I had to ask 10 minutes later to see where they were. As for the buffet cooked breakfast it was tasty but Luke warm so it had been out there a while. The continental breakfast was ok but they didn’t replenish the yogurt or butter. I had to ask for the butter (another wait) I’m still waiting for the yogurt and Ive checked out and now back home. It may turn up eventually… The older part of the hotel is pleasing to the eye the newer part not so much.

Breakfast was great. The bed, pillows and claimed block out curtains were not great. The curtain rod did not span the window hence light came in. Pillows were lumpy. Bed very hard.
