Travel Inn

It was a great room for one night. The hotel doesn't have any of the amenities (pool, etc) but just as a place to sleep it did the job. It's in a nice area of town--within a ten minute drive in either direction (north or south) there are plenty of places to eat and even a mall just south of the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to someone looking for a place to sleep overnight, but not necessarily a family with kids looking for a pool and more.

Near a singles bar (didn't quite feel safe) and near a major road - sound wasn't blocked very well. One night there were motorcycles going up and down the major road. This is a no frills. They said they had internet - but only wireless - no lan connection kits. The beds were *very* uncomfortable. No issues with cleanliness, but one morning got up and there was a whiskey bottle next to my car - that wasn't there the night before - I didn't leave anything in my car - too much foot traffic around. The hotel is generally past its prime. Seemed to be several people/rooms that were there at a weekly/monthly stay (but I don't know that for sure) The best thing I can say - is that it is convenient to the freeway and next to a Denny's.

Room was clean, with a minty smell. Some renovations had been done, but looks like a few steps got missed. No fitted sheet on the beds??? Pillows offered little support, bring your own if you don't sleep on your back. Staff was very helpful and friendly, and offered a bevy of eating establishments near the hotel. Very bare-bones, no frills experience. Breakfast was a choice between dry muffins, cereal, or fruit. Little entertainment in walking distance.
