Bluebird Sunapee

Our third time stay here..always comfortable, nice pool, clean and laundry option. Best of all close to Sunapee state park and ski area !

The staff was great and made sure I was able to arrive and get in to my room after hours.

Not even a coffee pot or kettle in the room. Most hotel rooms have at least that.

This is a well kept hotel. Easy, quick check in, 2 minutes tops. Pleasant people and helpful. Fresh coffee all the time. Our room was clean, no issues. Plenty of hot water which is great after skiing. Oh-and the pool! Pretty nice temp to relax those muscles. And you can walk to a very, very good restaurant. Perfect stay for us again.

The property seems to have been recently acquired and redone. They did a good job with what they have - inviting lobby, cozy with fireplace, games and books. Pool was a huge draw for kids. Game room/arcade is theoretically a bonus as well but we couldn’t figure out how to make most of the games work. Great location - restaurant right next door and just a couple minutes to mountain.

Our room - two queens - literally had not a single drawer or cabinet. Nothing. Not even in the bathroom. There was a single shelf and bar with a few hangers above the fridge/microwave but otherwise you just had to put your stuff on the floor/under the bed/etc. This may not sound like a big issue (and for some people, it really may not be) but for us it made the room much more difficult to enjoy. Windows were suuuper inefficient and did not keep out cold well. Granted it was very cold when we visited but it was hard to maintain temperature. Out room face the parking lot/restaurant and there were outside lights on 24/7 that we could not fully block out with blinds.

Room was very stark. No pictures on the walls, no dresser, tv was difficult to access.

Superficially looks clean and well kept. Walls were paper thin and you could hear every conversation in the halls / next door to your room. We had the unfortunate occurrence to stay next to a family who let their children scream all day and night, slammed the doors every two seconds, and were just overall obnoxious. Outlets were hanging out of the walls and the only food options was the restaurant across the street and the vending machines that had 2 bags of chips and otherwise empty. Overall highway robbery for the price we paid to stay here and the extremely limited options available.

The room and bathroom was renovated and clean.

You can hear other room doors slamming outside.
