Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort

Location is great, very convenient to go by boat to the private island which is so far the best beach of entire Aruba. Enjoyed it.

Breakfast could be enriched, even though good already.

The most effortless vacation ever! Wake up, get coffee at Starbucks in lobby ( they don't take gift cards though), catch the boat to the island, pick a palapas/ chair, go feed the flamingos and take pics before everyone else gets there, go have breakfast right on beach, enjoy the water and sun, take a walk around the island, get an afternoon smoothie then head back via boat before dinner. I've never spent so many hours on the beach. The wind kept us cool. The breakfast is huge so it can keep you full through lunch. And don't bring any money to Island since you can charge to room. Our belongings were safe the whole time. No need to rent a cabana since there's plenty of chairs and palapas. The room was great and beds comfy. The room just needed hooks to hang wet items. Bring various bathing suits bc they don't dry quickly. Bring quarters for the flamingo food. Bring your yeti and they can refill it on island. They also provide bottled water in room. My friend and I both agreed it was the best vacation ever and we will be back. Being surrounded by flamingos and iguanas was so cool.

The hotel overall is stunning with so much to do but the breakfast is incredible every morning. Specially the omelette station and Rosalba and Lucy our servers.

My entire stay during my vacation at the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort was pleasant and so much fun. The check-in process was delightful as Melissa was amazing and accommodating, the foods was very delicious as Dorathy was an amazing host, she made me the best Aruba Riba and Flamingo Island was breathtaking on this One Happy Island. I was here solo and it was perfectly safe. I enjoyed my 5 days vacation and I will be back soon maybe with a plus one.

We chose the Renaissance Wind Creek for its convenient location and adults only amenities. One section of the resort is adults only with an adult only pool. The resort does not have a beach, which is fine with us because we really aren’t beach people. We did take the boat to Renaissance Island and spent a few hours on the adult only Flamingo beach. The location was convenient. It was close to the airport. There were a lot a great restaurants in walking distance. We did not have a balcony that we could sit on, which is kind of a negative point for us. We like to sit and look at the ocean in the morning/evening, so we kind of missed that. The other negative point is the parking. There is no valet. The parking lot is across the street at the family side of the resort. The parking lot is open to paying customers not staying at the hotel. It can get full, and we learned the hard way that you can ask security to give you a spot that they reserve for hotel guests when the lot is full. No one tells you this until you’ve driven around the parking lot and are at a point of frustration. Also, when we checked out of the hotel our room key didn’t open the gate so we had to wait for security to open it while a line of angry people built up behind us. Overall we enjoyed our stay. All the service staff were friendly. We particularly appreciated our pool service with Paola and the bell service from César and others for handling our heavy bags full of scuba gear.
