Village Hotel Leeds North

Everything was perfect

This is a fairly basic hotel. It is quite modern and busy, with a bar and health club on site. We had a room with two double beds. We found the beds quite hard. There were a couple of drawers but no wardrobe. The only facility to hang clothes was a pole sticking out of the wall with a few hangers on it. There was ceiling lighting down one side of the room which was somewhat odd and a bedside table and bedside lighting on one side of the beds but not the other which wasn't helpful if there were two people sleeping in the bed. The towels were piled up behind the toilet and there was nowhere to hang them up after using them which was extremely unusual for a hotel. Breakfast was OK, with cereal, cut up fruit, a toaster and hot buffet. There was a queue for the one coffee machine as this was the only place to make tea of coffee.

I like the comfy bed and the room and the breakfast was nice and not to busy .... I didn't like the fact were told we had to payed for a late check out on arrival which we payed, to be charged again for the check out after we left illegally from my card without confirmation from me ..after leaving earlier than the late check out

I didn't like how long it took us to get to the room . How packed the facilities were that we could barely use concidering we payed for them And the coffee machine in the room was broke came downstairs for water and the vending machines were broke and took our money and gave us nothing ...

The facilities, the bar/restaurant area with activities. Good location.

Provided fans in bedrooms but would be a higher score if there was aur conditioning. It is still only spring and the rooms are very hot so would be uncomfortable in the summer months.
