Park Royal Beach Ixtapa - All Inclusive

They need to update rooms and facilities, no waiters in the pool and not good quality in drinks!!

We stay at park royal for the first time and it was amazing . The staff takes care of you at all times. We will be coming back .

The only thing I would suggest they change is to get softer beds! However I saw them bringing in new pillow top mattresses. So it's already in progress! Once that is complete this will be the perfect vacation destination!!!!!

Check in process was simple and quick. All staff were great - from check in to checking out and everything in-between. Location is great on El Palmer beach and walking proximity to Ixtapa.

Nice swimmmng pools. Right on the beach. Great spot!

This is our second time staying at the Park Royal hotel. We had a great time. The beach is beautiful and they have cheep awesome messages on the beach. Nice relaxing fun hotel. We will go back !!

The staff are amazing. Very friendly and make the trip very fun. Room was ok for some reason when we showered water would get all over the floor no matter how we moved the shower head. (That said no one else in our group of 8 had that problem) the room kinda had a moldy smell one other couple had the same. The food is ok kinda boring the menus don't change much we ate put a lot so that really wasn't to big of a problem. Nice pool. (Lots of kids at the swim up bar) the beach is beautiful. The resort overall is very clean. If u don't like loud music ask for a room off the first floor we were on that floor the band is pretty loud until midnight. I would probably stay here again.

I made reservations 50 minutes prior to arriving, but the hotel had s hard time finding my reservation. I had to call Orbitz support and although they faced in the information the hotel still took another hour to get me checked in. They mentioned, they’ve had other people scammed them in the past with bogus reservations so they take longer to check in people when the reservation is made within the same day. Other thang the check in everything else was fine. I’ve never had this issue in other hotels in Mexico so it was odd.

My stay started out well with the hotel giving me an ocean view upgrade but there were a few issues. The power went out on my floor one early evening for a few hours, I got stuck in one of the elevators for a while (it just stopped moving and the doors wouldn’t open- finally they did) and the Wi-Fi was down for about 24 hrs towards the end of my stay. The food was good, employees good and hotel facilities were nice. You can “reserve” a sun lounger in the mrng with your towel, if you don’t... be prepared to ask then wait but they will bring you some.
